of reasons including participation in organised competition and receiving
payment from athletic sporting clubs.
To assist Australian student-athletes in meeting eligibility requirements,
a copy of the
NCAA eligibility rules is attached for your information.

SQAS Indoors Team
The qualifying period for the SQAS Team at the Indoor Nationals
starts this weekend and will end on 20 July. This will give archers
three months in which to submit at least two FITA 18m Indoor scores
(although they can of course submit more). Rounds must be official Club
Indoor events and the Club Recorder will need to forward all results
to Jo Williams, our new SQAS Recorder ASAP but no later than 20th July.
The top four Compound archers and the top four Recurve archers who are
competing at the Indoor Nationals will comprise the official SQAS Indoor
Team. Archers from all categories are eligible (except for Compound

World 3D Championships.
Archery Australia Board has decided to support
a team to the World 3D Championships. This will be the first
time there has been such an initiative and we understand time frames
are short. Thanks must go to the Archery Australia Field Committee who
has developed this procedure. With the recent development of the Archery
Alliance of Australia and our new working relationships with ABA and
3DAAA we have also invited their members to apply for selection, of
course they would be expected to become Archery Australia members if
selected. The team is open to Freestyle Compound, Barebow Recurve, Longbow
and Instinctive Recurve, refer 2011 FITA rule book. Note;
Longbow must comply with FITA rules and only wooden arrows are permitted.

time with Keith they will be able to compare where there to were they
have gone.

Reminder - Score Sheet Requirements
In addition to date, club etc., it is a requirement
that all score sheets contain
1. the archer's full first and surname - no initials or nicknames
2. full date of birth - regardless of division. Yes, all 'open' division
archers, too
3. the archer's correct division and the actual round shot, such as
FITA 90m, FITA 25m Indoor, 145m Clout etc. If you are using the AA scoresheet
templates, all this requires is a tick in the correct box, and writing
the distance(s) in where required.
For QREs, no AA records can be claimed if a judge is not officiating.
The QRE scores will be still be valid if an authorised person is officiating
instead of a judge.
No AA or RGB records can be claimed if the above details are not marked
on the score sheet.
